Steve Bradley received his undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees in materials science and engineering from Northwestern University in 1970 and 1974 respectively.  Since graduation and for over almost 44 years he was employed at Honeywell UOP where he was responsible for the materials characterization and extensive failure analyses for new product development and as requested by customers.  He's retired from Honeywell UOP as a Senior Research Fellow in late 2018. Honeywell UOP is a leading international supplier and licensor of process technology, catalysts, adsorbents, process plants, and consulting services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, and gas processing industries.
